What is Yoga?

Yoga for Begginers. How to yoga begginers.

Yoga is a Sanskrit word derived from the Sanskrit root “Yuj” which means to connect, join or balance. Connect with your inner self. More precisely joining between mind-body-spirit. Yoga is many centuries old developed in India.

What normally means to the west is “Hath Yoga”, one of many paths of yoga. The different paths of yoga emphasize different approaches and techniques but ultimately lead to the same goal of unification and enlightenment.

The beauty of Yoga is that it not important to be a Yogi (Sanyai), to get the benefits of Yoga. A household person who is involved in the family can be a “Grihastha Yogi” just by practicing Yoga.

Yoga has a divine power that you feel when start doing it. But there is a need for a proper atmosphere to start Yoga both inside and outside of yourself.

Important note for Yoga Beginners

Yoga is for everyone

Many Yoga Beginners left practicing yoga at their beginning stage because they felt more tired by practicing Yoga or getting nothing improvement in themselves. Yoga is not easy to eat fruit, you need to cut it properly to eat, I mean to say that Yoga is also consuming energy, but it centers all the energy in the body that is going to be waste before starting Yoga. This takes time to do that.

How to practice yoga

Yoga is commonly acted in exposed feet on a tacky yoga mat with discretionary yoga props. The yoga developments and stances require garments that can stretch and move openly with your body. You can buy apparel explicitly intended for yoga practice, yet you can likely take a comfortable outfit from your current closet to begin.

Your First Yoga Practice

We recommend that you start with a short and straightforward yoga session and slowly build up from there. Once you feel comfortable with a few basic beginner yoga postures, you can incorporate them into a sequence and continue to add more challenging poses. Make sure you learn and follow the essential components of yoga practice: breathing, meditation, intention, asanas, and relaxation.

Yoga vs Exercise

It is very important to know that Yoga is different from Exercise, even “Hath Yoga” is different from exercise. Exercise makes the body fit, but Yoga Is for consciousness. Yoga cleans you from the inner and outer of your body.
